| Position Overview |
Currently seeking a motivated and experienced Data Architect to join our team of IT professionals. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and developing the data warehouse, developing the overall design for data movement and aggregation, information delivery, and data quality. This position will work directly with the business stakeholders and development team in order to transform the requirements vision into working code |
| Responsibilities |
• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data
storage and processing
• Develop & Implement for warehouse implementation, data
acquisition, and data archival
• Design & Develop ETL code to extract, cleanse, aggregate, and
load data into the data warehouse
• Participate in all phases of the system development lifecycle,
including requirements analysis, design, development, testing,
and deployment
• Hands-on experience with at at least one ETL tool

| Requirements |
• 5+ years experience with enterprise-wide system architecture and
data modeling
• Experience with Sybase ASE, Oracle (9i, 10g)
• Experience with SOA technologies and best practices
• Experience with data migration planning and large-scale data
conversion
• Experience with ETL and data modeling tools
• Geodatabase design experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
